History of the Oreo

The company which first developed the Oreo biscuits is named 'Nabisco'. It first brought Oreo biscuits to the world in the year of 1912. Its place of origin is in Chelsea Manhattan on Ninth Avenue. This block, Ninth Avenue is now called 'The Oreo Way' in honour of the Oreo Biscuit.
From then on the company and the Biscuit began expanding, growing and overall getting better over a period of time.

Hobnobs

HobNobs are a brand of biscuits made by McVities biscuit company. This is the same company which produces the Digestive Biscuits which I have written a post about already.
The main types of Hobnob biscuits available are, the milk chocolate Hobnobs, the Orange Hobnobs and the regular Hobnobs.


History of Hobnobs

Hobnobs were introduced to the world in 1985. There country of origin is Scotland in the United Kingdom. McVities got the name 'Hobnobs' from Shakespeare's Twelfth Night.

The cookie biscuits were known all around the world by the 14th Century. They were and still are extremely common at all levels all around the world. Before they became common, they were first developed in the 7th century AD, in an origin of Persia.
Cookies began to spread all around Europe due to the Conquest of Spain by the Muslims. Cookies spread to America in the late 1620's due to the Dutch in new Amsterdam.

Digestive Biscuits

There are many different types of Digestive biscuits. These are the originals, the milk chocolate, the dark chocolate, the double chocolate and the most recent one, the milk chocolate and caramel.
The original, and chocolate Digestive biscuits are the most popular ones out of all the different ones.

History of Digestives

The United Kingdom is the origin of all the different types of all the Digestive Biscuits.
They were first developed in 1839. Two Scottish men developed the idea for these biscuits as an aid for digestion, hence the name "Digestives".
